The best bargains of the season will be available in downtown all of Labor Day Weekend. Of the three sidewalk sales held in downtown each year, this one proves to be the biggest and the weather is the most conducive to sale success. This is also a great time for merchants to introduce new product for the upcoming season, although much of the new merchandise won’t be available until closer to the opening of ski season.
Merchants are reminded to keep a 6-foot walkway clear through their merchandise for accessibility.
In addition to the sidewalk sales, Labor Day Weekend in Steamboat is a mixture of all kinds of activities, including the Wild West Air Fest at the Bob Adams Airport, the 3-day Steamboat Stage Race, the next-to-last Farmers Market on Saturday and the PBR Bull Bash on Sunday. And don’t forget that the gondola is open for a few more weeks at the mountain.
