Howelson Hill Holiday Hours

The Howelsen Hill Ski Area opened the Barrows Chairlift and Small Magic Carpet on Saturday December 14th and Sunday December 15th from 10am-4pm.  These two lifts are scheduled to operate at these times for the rest of the season, conditions permitting.  The Poma and Boardwalk lifts are scheduled to operate Tuesday-Sunday during operating hours.  Howelsen is scheduled to be closed on Mondays all season.


Howelsen will have special Holiday operating hours as follows:


Saturday (12/21)                      10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Sunday (12/22)                    10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Monday (12/23)                       CLOSED

Tuesday (12/24)                       10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Wednesday (12/25)                  CLOSED

Thursday (12/26)                    10:00AM – 8:00 PM

Friday (12/27)                          10:00AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday (12/28)                    10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Sunday (12/29)                 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Monday (12/30)                       CLOSED

Tuesday (12/31)            10:00AM – 6:00PM

Wednesday (1/1)            10:00AM – 8:00PM

Thursday (1/2)               10:00AM – 8:00PM

Friday (1/3)                  10:00AM-6:00PM


Normal operating hours will resume on Saturday, January 4th


New terrain that will be open includes Short Cut, Mile Run, Bobsled Run and the terrain park.  Additional trails will open as conditions permit with new snow fall.


The Howelsen Hill Nordic Center has opened more terrain with approximately 19 kilometers open for Nordic and classic skiing and Fat Bikes.  Tickets or passes are required for these approved uses on groomed Nordic Trails.  Please remember that early season conditions exist.
