Steamboat Springs Teen Council Now Accepting 2014-15 Applications

The Steamboat Springs Teen Council is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 school year.  The all-teen organization works to “give teens a voice in our community.” Learn leadership and team-building skills while helping to guide community decisions that affect teens. Students currently in 8th to 11th grades are encouraged to apply for the 2014-2015 school year.  The application deadline is Wednesday, April 16th.  Download an application here.  For more information contact Kate Warnke at or 970-871-7054.

The SSTC, in its 7th consecutive year, works to increase positive leadership development, involve teens in the community at large, and provide substance free and alternative activities for youth.  The program is sponsored by the City of Steamboat Springs and Grand Futures Prevention Coalition. The SSTC is funded by the Routt County United Way and the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health Persistent Drunk Driving Grant.
